Psicon is seeking a Consultant Paediatrician with expertise in autism and ADHD to join our multi-disciplinary team. We are committed to providing the highest quality diagnostic assessments, treatment, and support for Autism, ADHD, and Mental Wellbeing.As a Paediatrician specialising in autism assessments for children and adolescents aged 5-18.

NHS trusts to provide autism and ADHD assessments. We are an independent
organisation, but most of our work is for the NHS, whom we are proud to
support. Assessments are carried out by our team of associate clinicians from a
range of clinical backgrounds, in satellite clinics across the country and

Job responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, NICE compliant autism and ADHD assessments.
- For those diagnosed with ADHD, determine clinical suitable for pharmacological treatment and develop bespoke treatment plans for children in line with NICE guidelines, BNFc and company clinical protocols.
- Collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team, including clinical psychologists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, psychiatrists and registered nurses.
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to independent non-medical prescribers.
- Participate in case discussions and oversee complex clinical cases.

- GMC-registered doctor with a valid license to practice.
- CCT in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry preferred, but not essential.
- Expertise and confidence in autism spectrum disorder ASD and/or ADHD assessments for children and young people.
- Up-to-date with revalidation and appraisal processes.
- A professional who embodies our values of trust, integrity, commitment, and kindness.
- Passionate about delivering clinical excellence for every child and young person.
