Job summary
We are seeking an inspirational, keen, dynamic and motivated Senior Manager with a demonstrable track record to not only maintain the current accomplishments to date, but to manage and lead our practice forward. You will have a focus on service improvement and delivery of key targets across all areas.
The role is directly supported by a Personal Assistant as well as a Senior Management Team including an Operations Manager, Finance Manager and Dispensary Manager.
The hours of work are full time across Monday to Friday, with a half day on one of the days, currently a Thursday.
Interview date will be Saturday 12 February 2022.
Start date will be Monday 23 May 2022, to enable a comprehensive hand-over from the current role holder.
Main duties of the job
Management and leadership of the practice, together with service improvement and delivery of key targets across all areas to ensure the organisation continues to provide excellent patient services as well as being an excellent employer and maintaining financial viability.
About us
Pocklington Group Practice is a friendly, forward thinking, pro-active General Practice, set in the picturesque and growing Yorkshire market town of Pocklington in East Yorkshire. It was formed in 1971 and in 2015 located to a brand new, purpose-built, state of the art healthcare facility on Amos Drive, Pocklington.
The 9-Partner practice is a GP training practice and also participates in the training of medical students through Hull and York Medical School (HYMS). We are a dispensing practice, currently dispensing to approximately half of our patient population (currently in the region of 18,000 patients).
We are part of the York East Primary Care Network (YEPCN) together with MyHealth Group and Elvington Medical Practice, which was formed in 2019.
We are also a member practice of the York-based federation, Nimbuscare, which comprises of eleven practices across the Vale of York locality.
