Practice Nurse

Job summary

We are looking for a part-time motivated and skilled practice nurse (with experience ideally or on training pathway) to join our fabulous team. We are a small, friendly and supportive team made up of 2 partners, 2 salaried GP's, FCP, nursing, pharmacist and admin staff. We have a high staff satisfaction and retention rate.

We are an EMIS practice with a list size of approx 4000 patients.

The role will be varied and cover all aspects of practice nursing. Training is encouraged/offered to fill any gaps in experience.

Main duties of the job

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Wound Management
• All vaccinations
• Travel advice and vaccinations
• Childhood immunisations
• Health promotion and lifestyle advice
• Screening such as cytology
• Management and review of long term conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and asthma
• Attend regular clinical meetings
