We are looking to recruit a flexible zero hour frontline receptionist working full time, Monday to Fridays (hours to be negotiated). You may be required to work Saturdays and extended hours, depending on the needs of the business.
Main duties of the job
Our receptionists provide a reception service for all patients including: appointment bookings, prescription requests & other
enquiries.
You will provide a meet & greet service for external visitors to the Practice.
A big part of the role is to receive & process incoming telephone calls to the
practice in a timely manner.
Distribute clinical/non- clinical correspondence to Practice
members.
Issue repeat & acute prescriptions if required following
practice protocols.
Comply with Practice Health & Safety Policy at all times.
Uphold confidentiality at all times.
Assist in any other tasks as required for the role.
Person spec:
Good communication skills, verbal and written.
Ability to be flexible and manage a busy working environment.
Reception experience.(would be preferable but training given)

practice Primary Care Network (PCN) with over 30,500 patients.
We are a large Practice. We have an established team of 10
GP Partners & a host of varied health professionals including pharmacists,
nurses, ANP's, PA, Paramedic, Physiotherapist, Social Prescribing link worker,
care co-ordinators & a large admin team.
You will form part of an existing team, working together to
maintain a high quality service.

To provide an efficient & responsive reception service to NMG patients & the Primary Health Care Team plus undertake related admin tasks.
Flexibility will be required in order to cover reception at peak times and there may be the need to work the occasional Saturday morning or cover extended hours (until 8.30pm)

To provide a reception service for all patients reporting to a reception desk including: appointment bookings, prescription requests & other enquiries.
To provide a reception service for all external visitors to the Practice.
