Job summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic General Practitioner to join our established team and be a part of a Practice that really cares and makes a difference within the community.
Earnswood Medical Centre is situated in a modern, purpose built Health Centre serving c17,000 patients. The practice is located in Crewe, Cheshire.
Main duties of the job
In general the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
Normal duties includes surgery consultations and queries, on-call clinics, telephone consultations and signing repeat prescriptions, patient test results, referral letters and correspondence.
Recording clear and contemporaneous I.T. based consultation notes Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions (avoiding hand-written prescriptions whenever possible)
Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies/guidelines, e.g. prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety, QOF and PCN DES.
Contributing to evaluation/audit and clinical standard setting within the organisation. Attending training, Practice Meetings and events organised by the practice or other agencies, where appropriate.
