An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive practice team. We are ideally seeking candidates available for 4 - 8 sessions; however, we are flexible and willing to consider alternative arrangements for the right individual.

Main duties of the job
Clinical Session
1 Home visit per session
Patient list
Participation in on call rota
Prescribing within locally agreed guidelines
Processing administration workflow, within a timely manner
Maintaining accurate clinical records
Participation in weekly clinical meetings and monthly primary healthcare team meetings
Compliance to the appraisal and revalidation process
Reviewing and adhering to practice policies and processes
Compliance to mandatory training
About us
We are a highly regarded and friendly GP training practice based
in Godalming, Surrey. We provide high-quality clinical care to over 17,000
patients and retained an Outstanding rating in our most recent CQC
inspection, conducted in November 2025.
We are
consistently high achievers in the Quality and Outcomes Framework, achieving 97.5%
of available points at the end of this financial year. The practice is fully
digital and uses EMIS Web, Docman, Lexacom, AccuRx, and EPS to support safe,
efficient, and effective patient care.
We have 7 GP partners and 3 Salaried GPs. We
work within a well-established multidisciplinary team that includes 3 paramedics, 1 nurse practitioner, 1 first contact physiotherapist, GPiMHS, 1 clinical pharmacist, and a pharmacy technician. The clinical team is supported
by an excellent administrative team, alongside highly skilled nursing staff and
healthcare assistants.
The practice is
located in purpose-built premises on the outskirts of Godalming. We offer a wide range of enhanced services, including
minor surgery, contraception, and anticoagulation, and provide patients with a
hybrid model of access. We are also a member of East Waverley PCN, working
collaboratively alongside four other local practices.
We also offer
regular clinical sessions for local care homes (Broadwater Lodge, Eastlake,
Guildford house, Jubilee House, La Verna and Hydon Hill). We offer medical care
to pupils at Charterhouse School.

correspondence(Docman) by the end of their working week
Taking an equitable share of the queries and
workload from the wider MDT team
Making professional autonomous decisions with either self-referred patients or those
referred by another member of the MDT team
Recording and making contemporaneous I.T. based
consultation notes to agreed standards
Management &
Administration
Work alongside the clinical team to achieve QOF
targets
Participate in weekly MDT meetings on a Monday
lunchtime (12.30 14.00) to include:

Gold Standard Framework with District Nurses and Community Matron
o
Children at Risk with Health Visitors
o
Clinical topics
o
Audit presentations
o
Significant event analysis
Participate in clinical audit
Teaching and training

Medical Students

Doctors in training

Assist practice to maintain GP Training status

Any work that is funded under a LES payment is
undertaken in such a way to ensure that the practice will be remunerated
