Main duties of the job
- NHS Health Checks & new patient health checks
- ECG recording
- Phlebotomy
- Urinalysis and specimen processing
- Chaperoning duties
- Blood pressure recording
- B12 Flu vaccinations
- Diabetes checks including foot checks
- Pre-diabetes and diet/lifestyle advice
- Hypertension reviews
- Fridge checks
- Vaccine/cold chain storage, monitoring and recording.
- Re-stocking consulting rooms
- Preparing and maintaining environments and equipment before, during and after patient care interventions, including assisting GPs during the performance of minor surgery
About us
We are a innovative teaching practice in Huddersfield, with a list size 7100 patients. Our surgery is modern and friendly practice and we strive to provide an excellent standard of care for our patients. We have 20 staff members. Our clinical team comprises of 3 GP Partners, 2 ACP's, 2 Practice Nurses, and nursing associate. Our non clinical staff provide management, administration and reception services
