Job summary
Horden Group Practice
are currently looking for an enthusiastic deputy practice manager who can demonstrate excellent leadership skills and is well organised,
with a passion for delivering high standards in patient or customer services.
Ideally, you will have previous GP Practice Deputy Management
experience or similar, however we will consider an exceptional candidate if
able to demonstrate the necessary transferable skills.
Main duties of the job
The role is to support the practice manager in the day-to-day
management of the practice, ensuring staff achieve their primary
responsibilities and also deputise for the Practice Manager in their absence.
Coordinate staff absences and annual leave.
Maintaining and carrying out remedial actions in response
to significant events and SIRMS.
Managing and guiding the team to maximise achievements in
local incentive schemes, QOF and IIF.
Managing the clinical system, ensuring clinical session
structure is effective and meets the needs of patients.
Ensuring staff adhere to practice policies and
procedures.
Providing the team with leadership and guidance.
Management of staff mandatory training.

Horden Group Practice
are a friendly 3-partner training practice with 2 sites. Our main site is in Horden and our branch
site is in Peterlee. Our team is made
up of GPs, GP Registrars, ANP's, Practice Nurses, Pharmacists and HCA's who
are all supported by our experienced helpful Admin Team. We also have ARRS roles linked to the
Surgery.
We have a current list size of around 7750 patients and our senior GP
is the Clinical Director for our Primary Care Network, Easington Central.
