Operations Manager

Job summary

Due to rapid, continued growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, committed Operations Manager/ Deputy Practice Manager, to join our group of GP practices in Huddersfield.

Main duties of the job

Day in the life of an Operations Manager/Deputy Practice Manager;

• Working closely with the Management Team to manage the reception/admin staff and ensure the smooth running of the admin work
• Providing support to the Practice Manager in project work and in the running of key systems and procedures
• Managing data quality issues, providing support and guidance to practice staff in the use of the clinical systems to promote quality achievement
• Maintaining and updating the appointments ledger (SystmOne)
• Ensure communication systems are running smoothly; including keeping all clinical and admin staff are informed of changes
• Ensuring that documentation exists to support performance standards (I.e. QOF, Enhanced Services, etc.)
• Providing support and training to existing and new staff members

The role will give you a high level of exposure to many administrative tasks as you work closely with the Practice Manager and is the perfect role for a talented, Primary care experienced, Secretary who is keen to take on a new challenge within a fast-paced environment.

You must be available to work Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00 - 18:30 on a rota pattern.
