Job summary
We are excited to be recruiting an experienced HCA to join our current Practice Nurse and HCA team across St Marys, Telephone House and Mulberry House Surgeries. The successful applicant will work as a key member of our clinical team providing high standards of care to our practice populations.
Main duties of the job
Job responsibilities
- Phlebotomy
- NHS checks/Long term condition reviews/mental health reviews
- ECGs
- Accurately record and monitor BP/weight/pulse
- Where appropriately trained, to also administer B12, shingles, pneumococcal, flu vaccinations.
Non clinical tasks would include stock take, ordering, checking emergency equipment etc.

PLEASE NOTE - APPLICANTS MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEARS EXPERIENCE AS A HEALTH CARE ASSISTANT.
About us
We have an exceptionally supportive and experienced team which consists of 13 Practice Nurses, 3 HCAs, specialist diabetes and asthma nurses. The Practice is very supportive of learning and development and offer quality clinical support from a clinical line manager, and other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
