Job summary

We are looking for a Practice Nurse with a special interest in diabetes to join our friendly, motivated, and mutually supportive nursing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join our well-established Practice located in the centre of the market town of Witney with a list size of 12,000 patients. The value of the Practice is to offer excellent patient care.

Hours of work: 16 to 30 hours a week, we will be flexible for the right candidate

Main duties of the job

We are looking for someone that ideally has 3 years experience, preferablyin Primary Care, who has the knowledge, skills and with evidence of training in Diabetes management. You will be pivotal in managing patients diabetic regimes, offering advice, support, medication changes along with supporting the Practice with its targets and maintaining our high standards of care.

About us

We are a welcoming and well-respected training practice with 4 Directors, 5 salaried GPs, 3 trainees, 2 ECPs, 2 CPs, 2 current Nurses and 2 HCAs plus a phlebotomist.

We are well supported by our management, admin, and reception teams. The Practice supports future development for all staff.

We are members of a 4 Practice PCN.
