Job summary
Due to the retirement of a longstanding staff member, we are looking to add to our small team of experienced part time mental health specialists.
We are looking for a resourceful, reliable and reflective mental health worker to join our small well-established team based in a unique primary care mental health service.
The post offers the opportunity to be creative and develop own areas of interest within the scope of the service.
Days to be worked are primarily Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Main duties of the job
The purpose of this role is to help improve the quality of life of people with severe and enduring mental health problems. The CMHP will manage a caseload working in close liaison with Forge Health Group GPs. The post holder will work closely with service users and their families to consider their needs and aspirations. They will co-ordinate care, plan and deliver a range of social and psychological interventions regularly reviewing outcomes. The post holder will provide a flexible and responsive service to address wide ranging needs. They will also be proactive, innovative, and creative in delivering care. They will work collaboratively with an extensive network of agencies in the statutory, VCF and private sectors.
The successful applicant will be comfortable working both on their own and with others from a range of different backgrounds. They will be resilient, motivated, and committed to working with people with complex needs and disabilities.
