Job summary
We are seeking a highly organised Medical Secretary to join our team.
The ideal candidate would have experience of using EMIS, good sound knowledge of medical terminology, and have worked as a Medical Secretary within the NHS.
You must be accurate, have good communication skills and be a team player.
The position available is part time, approx. 15-20 hours per week. Shift times are negotiable.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities

Providing comprehensive secretarial support to clinicians

Managing patient referrals, and correspondence

Managing medical reports, insurance claims and subject access requests

Handling confidential patient information in line with data protection regulations

Liaising with patients, healthcare professionals, and external organisations

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
