Job summary
A new and exciting opportunity has become
available for a motivated GP Practice Manager to join our established,
successful practice located in Windsor, Berkshire. We also have a branch site
at the University on London campus in Egham.
With a patient list size of approx 17,000 across the two sites, we work closely with Primary and Secondary care colleagues in the NHS to provide the best possible patient care.
We encourage collaborate working and are recognise for training, teaching and diversification. We embrace change and new technologies whilst maintaining the traditional model of GP services. The practice has a good team ethic with the enthusiasm to grasp new opportunities.
Reporting directly to the Practice Partners, the PM must be able to:
demonstrate excellent leadership skill
be proactive and well organised
possess a passion for delivering high standards
in patient services
self-motivated and disciplined with the ability
to take ownership of whatever circumstances may arise during the daily running
of the practice
Working as a key
member of the management team, you will assist the Partners in the management
and development of non-clinical practice staff and be responsible for the
production of performance and quality standards within the practice, delivered
through QOF, Enhanced services and other incentives.
Main duties of the job
Provide leadership for the whole team and be responsible for managing all aspects of the practice. We are looking for a confident and resilient individual with excellent communication skills.
Provide leadership and management skills to enable the practice to meets its agreed aims and objectives with a safe, efficient and effective working environment.
Working closely with the Partners on all aspects of practice management and developing the staff and practice.
Managing all aspects of the practice, e.g. Finance, Quality Care and Governance, Project Management, HR, Stakeholder Engagement, Patient Services, IT and Health & Safety.
Managing all aspects of staffing, e.g. recruitment, appraisals, etc
About us
We are a three Partner, five salaried GP practice and also a successful GP training practice with a number of our past trainees joining us as Salaried GPs once qualified.
Our premises were purposed built and are near Windsor town centre and a branch site at Royal Holloway University of London in Egham.
We have a fantastic doctor, nursing and reception and admin team, many of whom have been here for many years and possess great work ethic. The overall team consists of the GPs, Practices Nurses and a Health Care Assistant, Clinical Pharmacists, MSK Specialists, Care Co-ordinator and Reception, Secretary, Prescription and Admin staff.
