St Anthonys Health Centre - Fixed Term Salaried GP (maternity cover)

6 session salaried GP 12 mth fixed term basis - to cover maternity leave 2026

Ideally to allow for a brief overlap you would be able to start January 2026 but we will consider a February start date to encourage newly qualified GPs to apply.

Friendly, supportive team, daily clinical meetings to discuss cases, and partners are always on hand to discuss anything you are unsure about. We always have lunch together.

Our access system is designed to maximize continuity and give GPs time with the patients who need us most. All requests for appointments are triaged to make sure the patient sees the right clinician, and we aim to retain the holistic, relational care that makes GP effective and rewarding.

We offer a good rate of pay and T+Cs and in return we are seeking a GP willing to provide comprehensive cover which should include:

Providing triage and well as booked appointments

A share of home visits (usually only one a day)

Late call once a week

Responsibility for the "usual doctor" admin to cover the work of the absent GP

• Full registration with GMC
