Job summary
Stapenhill Medical Centre is currently recruiting an
administrator for approximately 20 hours per week on a permanent basis.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will provide administrative and support duties to the Office Manager/Practice Manager to enable the practice to meet agreed aims and objectives within a courteous, efficient, safe and effective way.
About us
We are a highly productive Practice always looking to provide excellent care and new services to our patients.
We currently have three full-time Partners, assisted by three employed GP's, two Pharmacists, one Advanced Nurse Practitioner, two Practice Nurses and one Healthcare Assistant.
With a patient list currently in excess of 9,500 and growing, and with the development of new services, we are seeking to recruit to address our current and future needs.
We are a friendly well established Practice with high QOF scores and a Good CQC rating.
The successful applicant will work within our team to deliver an excellent service to our patients. Good communication and organisational skills are essential. Candidates must be flexible, reliable, have the ability to multi-task and work efficiently within a busy and pressurised environment. Previous experience would be highly advantageous, however, full training will be provided. The Practice uses SystmOne Clinical System.

Job responsibilities

Processing and preparing of records,
using iGPR, for Subject Access Requests within the GDPR limits and liaise with
the requestors of the information, e.g. Solicitors.
- Ensure all non-GMS work, GPR/Targeted reports, DVLA requests and
patient medicals are actioned and completed in a timely manner.
- Assist the Administration team with monitoring and maximisation
of practice performance against QOF/QIF.

Assist the Office Manager with the maintenance of practice
protocols and policies, ensuring up to date information is provided.

Manage and maintain clinics for GPs, ANPs, Nurses and
Pharmacist.

Maintain all clinicians holiday planner and ensure cover is
organised where required.

Advise employers/patients of relevant charges for private work.

Participate in annual appraisal.

Attend/complete
mandatory training as required.

Attend
meetings arranged within the practice.

Undertake any other additional duties appropriate to the post as
requested by the Partners or the Practice Manager.

Work
effectively with individuals in other agencies to meet patients needs

Effectively manage own time, workload and resources

Communicate effectively with all other team members.

Maintain confidentiality at ALL times.

computer records.
