Job summary
The Kennet and Avon Medical Partnership is a large general practice. We are seeking a QA administrator to join our team.
This is a non-clinical role workingup to 28 hrs, ideally over 4 days a week with flexibility on working days between Monday and Friday.
This is an administrative role which plays a key part in optimising the health of our patients with chronic and life-long conditions as well as contributing to the health of our wider population. You will cover named medical conditions, health screening and immunisations rotating each year. You will work among a great team of professionals and in a flexible environment. Main duties of the job
As a QA administrator you will Follow quality assurance processes which are designed to ensure the standards of care are maintained and improved, to minimize errors and provide patient safety and quality of care.
Your main role will be to:
- Summarise contents of paper medical records and add relevant information to the patient's electronic record.
- Assist with processing clinical correspondence, eg from hospitals, adding relevant information to the patient record and flagging any actions to the appropriate clinician.
- Ensure optimal uptake of health promotion initiatives, such as cardiovascular health screening and immunisations.
- Contribute to the achievement of The Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) by managing continuous call, recall and monitoring processes. This consists of managing and maintaining our Long Term conditions registers and Inviting patients for annual reviews of their long-term conditions.
