Their job is to welcome patients, understand their medical needs and help them to access the most appropriate service. They also provide general support to the Practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.

In addition, Patient Navigators take a leading role in educating patients about how to best use the services on offer to them by the practice as well as other providers where appropriate.
