The role of practice nurse is crucial and central to General Practice. Here you will look after a patient population of 13500, assessing their needs, promoting healthy lifestyles and actively working in vaccination programmes such as childhood immunisations etc.
Main duties of the job
Offer lifestyle advice.
Manage long term condisitons such as diabetes, asthma, COPD, Heart Failure etc.
Vaccinate against season viruses.
Childhood Immunisations.
Blood tests and ECGs.
About us
At Deerness Park we are a team of 7 GP's, 5 Advanced clinical practitioners, 4 Practice Nurses and 4 Healthcare assistants. You will work with an experienced team. We are a training practice, and regularly offer opportunities for our team to grow.
The clinical team are supported by a sound administrative team, who support the work required to look after our patients.
