Job summary
This Job is located within our AWMH Andover GP Access Hub and Badger Farm Surgery, Winchester
The GP Extended Hours service offers patients within the Mid Hampshire area, routine appointments during evenings and weekends to help provide additional capacity to our member GP practices. Patients are booked into this service to see a Health Care Assistant by their own GP practice and we offer appointments such as dressings, ear irrigation, doppler and NHS Health Checks. Primary Care experience is desirable, but if you are not experienced in all areas and are willing to learn, we would welcome your application.

Main duties of the job
Responsible for attending to patients who wish to be seen by a health care professional within the Hub environment providing high quality evidence based nursing services to the Mid Hampshire Practice population. Patients can be booked into the Extended Hours Hub for routine Nursing appointments and this service acts as an extension to usual GP Practice services offering appointments at times more convenient to some patients.

Mid Hampshire Healthcare is a large GP Federation covering the Andover, Winchester and Rural Winchester area. We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly and experienced Primary Care Nurses to join our Extended Hours team providing excellent care to patients from our member practices.
