We present an exciting opportunity for the role of an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 30 hours per week, at Witton Street Surgery.

This is a new and evolving role, the main duties are as follows:-

Independent acute clinics

Triage

NH reviews

Chronic disease management

The post holder will have leadership skills and will support the existing nursing team with more complex patients.There are opportunities to further develop the nursing team with the exciting potential to add new services, i.e travel clinics, family planning.They will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care.They will demonstrate safe, competent clinical decision-making and expert care.We have a friendly supportive team, with approachable GPs available to support the post holder as necessary.
