Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will work closely with the Practice Manager to ensure the day-to-day running of the practice is as smooth as possible. They will have good working knowledge of Primary Care and how we play our part in the patient journey.
This position requires proven leadership skills and the ability to think on your feet - each day brings something new in General Practice!

Job responsibilities
To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of administrative duties and the provision of administrative support to the multidisciplinary team. Support staff with the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers, ensuring the promotion of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I), Safety, Health, Environment and Fire (SHEF), quality and continuous improvement, confidentiality, collaborative working, service delivery, learning and development and assist in ensuring the practice complies with CQC regulations.

Qualifications
Essential
- GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths
- Leadership/Management/AMSPAR qualification
Desirable
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3
