Salary will be dependant on experience and qualifications. Prescribing qualification would be an advantage but not essential.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for visiting patients in their usual place of residence, who present with a wide-range of minor illness, urgent and same day requests for treatment and chronic disease management.

When not visiting you may be supporting the management of patients at the practice, either face to face or over the phone.

You will be supported in the role by GPs and other colleagues and there will be opportunities for upskilling and further training.

Maywood Surgery is an inclusive, friendly, flexible and forward thinking practice based in sunny Bognor Regis which is on the West Sussex Coast. Serving a local, growing patient population of around 18000 patients the team are proud to achieve consistently high QoF results, positive patient feedback and provide training for medical students and GP registrars.

Maywood is part of the Bognor Coastal Alliance (BCA) PCN which was formed on April 1st 2023.

We have a reputation for being innovative and for a willingness to trial new products or ways of working. These innovations are always implemented with the considerations of making things easier and more streamlined for our clinicians and non-clinical staff.

We use AccuRX for our online consultation service which allows us to manage our own workload, with control over appointments

Core practice opening hours are 0800 to 1830 Monday to Friday each week.
