QOF Administrator

This job is now closed

Job summary

General Practice achieves high quality patient care from a backbone of excellent data about patients. We are looking for an administrator with an interest in searching, reporting and generalised data crunching to provide that supportive data to assist our clinical teams.

The role is varied and interesting, involving some regular tasks and other ad hoc work. You will work with all our software systems and enjoy bending them to your will. You will have an enquiring mind, enjoying trying to find solutions to problems and you will in turn enjoy a varied and fascinating role.

The position would suit an administrator seeking to enhance or progress their career, with or without a primary care background. You will be comfortable working autonomously and managing your workload effectively.

Main duties of the job

You may have existing knowledge of healthcare contractual requirements or be able to adapt your skills easily to the healthcare environment. You will occupy a pivotal role in ensuring that data is delivered correctly and on time where it is needed, to ensure the quality of patient care is maximised at all times. You will be expected to report on clinical activity and liaise with departments and external agencies as required.

You will be flexible in your outlook and able to adapt readily to change. You will be responsive and able to prioritise your workload appropriately. You will be able to work from one of a number of sites dependant on the needs of the business.

This is an exciting opportunity for a data analyst ready to enhance their skills and abilities in modern healthcare, or an administrator with a taste for IT and systems reporting.
