Job summary
Due to rapid practice growth, St James Medical Practice is seeking new GPs to join our multidisciplinary team.
We are looking for two GPs to provide ideally 8 sessions across the week; competitive salary for the right candidate.
We are flexible with the above requirements and happy to discuss any changes needed around sessions etc with any successful candidates.
Main duties of the job
We have operated a total triage approach since the pandemic and have a low number of home visits.
We recognise the value of working alongside patients and professionals and value a good work life balance, whilst striving to deliver excellent care to our local population.

We are a dynamic inner London Practice who embraces innovation. We currently have 17,000 patients and will be moving to a new purpose built surgery in 2024.
We currently have 2 Partners, 3 salaried GPs, 5 Long Term Locums, 3 Physician Associates, 3 Pharmacists, 1 Paramedic, 2 Nurses and 1 HCA all working collaboratively.

General Practice is ever evolving - and to keep up with patient needs over the years we have employed a number of long-term locum GPs who have become an integral part of the team, and continue to do so. They provide their invaluable contribution, urgent care for patients in need as well as those patient with long term health needs.
The post holder will be involved in the patient journey from history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, through to treatment evaluation of care.
The post holder will demonstrate critical thinking in the decision-making process working collaboratively as part of the primary care team and provide advice to meet the needs of patients, and their relatives/carers, while at all times working within the agreed policies and procedures supporting the way care is provided.
