Job summary
We are
currently looking for a salaried GP or GP Partner for between 4-5 sessions per
week.
We are a
friendly, city centre practice (approx. 13,500 patients) with a mixed and
varied patient population.
We are a
supportive team of 7 GP Partners and 4 salaried GPs, Head of Business
Administration & Finance with a strong & expanding nursing team, 3
experienced Paramedic practitioners, Pharmacist and a Physiotherapist, along
with a friendly Patient Advisory team and efficient administration team,
managed by the Administration Lead & Patient Advisory Lead. We also have an
Executive Assistant who supports our management team.
We are based in the heart of Oxford in a brand-new, purpose-built premises with our neighbouring practice of King Edward Street Practice. We have recently undertaken a merger, which has expanded the practice in several positive & exciting ways.
Our central location makes us accessible to public transport and we there is secure, indoor bike parking for staff.
Main duties of the job
We have a strong interest in teaching and training, and have good connections with the University of Oxford, acting as 'College Doctor' to eight of the Oxford Colleges. We area training practice for medical students and Foundation Year Doctors, and will soon be a training practice for GP trainees. We are an NIHR approved research practice.We have strong relationships with the other three practices in our PCN (Oxford Central PCN), and work collaboratively alongside each other, and are building our team of health care professionals within the PCN.
