Job summary
Allerton Medical Centre is looking for a part-time GP (4 - 6 sessions per week) for a 4 month fixed period to help keep patient continuity while we recruit to permanent roles.
You may not be ready to commit to one practice or you may be looking for a little stability for a while - we'd love to make you welcome for a few months.
Most
important is that you are happy to be part of a proactive and developing
practice and are excited by the opportunity we can provide to work with a
varied patient population and a fantastic practice team.

We are a new business emerging from two small practices coming together to provide our patients with continuity of care, building on the strength of an integrated business function. We are bringing together two great teams of people who have a deep-seated commitment to our patients, firmly believing in the principle that Small is Still Beautiful when it comes to our direct patient care.
We will develop a practice to meet the challenges of the changing face of primary care, building on different roles and skills across the team to provide a high standard of care and maintaining a sustainable work/life balance. We will continue to work and lead within an active and forward-thinking PCN to share knowledge and support across the community.
We are committed to exploring technology and new ways of working such as online and group consultations.
The technical bits:
· GMS Contract - 3 GP Partners, 2 salaried GPs, 1 ACP, 1 Clinical Pharmacist, 3 Practice Nurses, 2 HCAs and 1 phlebotomist.
· 10,000 patients across two sites
· S1 supported by Ardens
· PCN Clinical Director and Co-Lead PCN Practice Manager. LMC Rep.
· BMA model contract
· Total triage, care navigation and document management in place.

caseload. The appointee will also have the opportunity to take part in leading
on key disease areas (monitoring trends in treatment, staff training and
prescribing) and assist in developing appropriate healthcare services for a
diverse suburban patient list; Including Directed Enhanced Services
commissioning, patient participation and health promotion.
To adopt, adapt and exploit the clinical systems, digital solutions and new ways of working such as online consultations, group consultations, text and email communication to engage with patients in their care.
To work as part of a full practice team that values contribution from all roles and engages to mutually support each other to provide the best patient experience.
