An opportunity has arisen to expand our GP team to invite applications from a highly motivated GP who wishes to have a varied and fulfilling career together with a valued work life balance.
We are looking for a salaried GP to take on partnership roles of leadership, PCN working and CQC/contract management within the practice but without the traditional expectations of financial liability or buy-in to the business. In return, the successful candidate will be rewarded with an above average salary and financial package and time within the working week to balance workload.
We have excellent staff retention & satisfaction and the GP team are supported by 2 very experienced ANPs, a practice pharmacist, 2 specialist nurses and 1 HCA.

Layton Medical Centre is a high achieving GMS practice in the Central PCN in Blackpool. It serves a population of 8000 patients with a growing list size.
We are housed in the same building as Fylde Coast Clinical Research, a nationally recognised primary care research centre and NIHR affiliated organisation.

In accordance with the practice timetable, as agrees, the post holder will undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations. telephone consultations, queries, Visits, checking and signing repeat prescriptions, on call duties, paperwork and correspondence.
Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health workers within the organisation.
Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes.
Taking on a role of leadership, PCN working and CQC/contract management within the practice.
