Practice Nurse Extended Hours

Job summary

Hereford Medical Group is pleased to be extending its access to its registered patients by offering additional appointments during weekday evenings (18:30 to 20:00) and Saturdays (09:00 to 17:00.)

We are looking for Practice Nurses to join our team and support the extended hours. Shifts would typically be 18:15 to 20:15 weekday evenings and 9:00 to 17:00 Saturdays.

Enhanced pay will apply with 1.5 x the agreed rate after 19:00hrs and for Saturday working.

There is some flexibility in how shifts can be arranged across the monthfor example, one or two Saturdays or a small number of evening shiftsbut applicants should be able to commit to a regular schedule.

You will be working as part of a small, supportive team delivering services from our purpose-built site, with guidance from a dedicated service lead.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a confident, flexible Registered Nurse to join our Extended Access team. You'll deliver high quality care including chronic disease management, cervical screening, immunisations, wound care, ECGs and health promotion. The role also includes supporting HCAs, assisting with urgent patient needs, and maintaining clinical areas and equipment.

You'll be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team with opportunities for ongoing training and professional development. Ideal for a proactive nurse who can work independently and provide excellent patient care.
