About us
Woodlands Medical Centre is part of the Didcot Primary Care Network. We are located next to the Didcot Community Hospital and are actively involved in working with commissioners to develop a 4th GP practice in Didcot.
We have a great team comprising of 10 partners, 6 salaried GPs, 3 Practice Nurses, 6 Health Care Assistants, 3 Managers and a fantastic administration team!

CLINICAL DUTIES
Range of general practice consultations telephone,
face-to-face, home visits, urgent and non-urgent appointments.
Oversee and participate in chronic disease management
MANAGEMENT AND
ADMINISTRATION
Work as part of a team to ensure QOF targets are met
Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings
Participate in audit of clinical and patient services
Participate further development of the practice
Engage in and foster relationships with local GP
practices within the Didcot Primary Care Network, South West Locality and
Oxfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group
TEACHING AND
TRAINING
Involvement in teaching of medical students, GP trainees,
Foundation doctors, nurses and other health professionals attached to the
practice
GENERAL DUTIES
Attend all mandatory training courses and any specific to
your role as discussed with GP Partners
Attend regular team meetings
Follow practice policies and procedures as agreed by
Woodlands Medical Practice
Participate in regular appraisals
Maintain consistent and professional attendance,
punctuality, personal appearance and adhere to other relevant health and safety
and environmental procedures
