Job summary
Come and join our lovely team atFellCottageSurgery in LowFell, Gateshead.
We have a beautiful Grade 2 listed building in the heart of LowFell.We are looking for a 4 session salaried GP to work within our team.We are a friendly bunch and we have a big focus on our work life balance.We have 4 partners and 3 salaried GPs, ANP, diabetes nurse specialist, practice nurses, HCAs and 2 pharmacists. As well as a fabulous admin team and a new dynamic practice manager and assistant practice manager.We also have support from Pharmicus for our discharge letters, medication reviews and prescription queries.We are a training practice with medical students and also Foundation doctors and Gp Registrars.We work closely with our neighboring practices and are our part of our local PCN. Our last CQC was good.We have scope for developing certain skills ie minor surgery, coil and implant inserts etcWe all meet daily for coffee, have regular meetings and genuinely like each other!
Main duties of the job
Ideally 4 sessions a week and would include standard Gp duties. We are developing a minor surgery and injection service and also fit coils/implants, have an HRT service and look after our 2 local care homes.
