We are now looking for a dedicated Health Care
Assistant (HCA) to join our collaborative and supportive clinical team. We also

For HCA Apprentice:
No prior HCA experience is required just enthusiasm, a caring nature, and a
willingness to learn and develop a career in the NHS.

Main duties of the job
We are now looking for a dedicated Health Care Assistant, HCA to join our collaborative and supportive clinical team.
As an HCA, you will be at the frontline of patient care, supporting the wider clinical team and playing a vital role in promoting health, delivering hands-on care, and empowering patients through education and prevention.

Job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering patient-centred HCA services in line with practice protocols
- Performing vital signs checks: BP, pulse, temperature, BMI, blood sugars
- Collecting and preparing pathology samples (e.g. venepuncture, INR, urinalysis)
- Administering vaccines and injections (e.g. B12, flu, pneumonia, shingles)
- Conducting ECGs and supporting chronic disease management
- Providing both Basic and Complex wound care, stitch removal
- Safeguarding adults and children and responding appropriately to concerns
- Participating in audits and maintaining infection control and stock levels
