The role will also include an element of home visits and you may be asked to cover extended hours on a pro rata basis.

About us
Betts Avenue is a long established GP Practice operating in the heart of Newcastle over two sites (Kenton and Benwell). We currently have 3 GP Partners, 1 salaried GP, supported by an established nursing team, HCAs and admin team delivering a range of services to a population of approximately 11,600 patients.
We promote and encourage the development of our staff and teach F2 Doctors, Year 5 Medical Students and Nursing Students. The practice is an active member of the Inner West Primary Care Network, NGPS Federation, LMC and CCG.
We like to ensure that our staff have a healthy work/home life balance. We appreciate that General Practice is a very busy place to work, we would therefore not expect a Salaried GP to take on the same responsibility as a GP Partner and we try to keep meetings and training within the working day. We all support each other where possible and work together as a team.
