Phoenix Medical Practice are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly team.
We are a busy rural dispensing practice with a growing list of over 5,600 patients operating out of two sites.
The position is arising with the reduction in hours of one of our existing Practice nurses and will require person to work on a Monday and potentially a Friday with a maximum of 16 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for the delivery of basic practice nursing services care to the practice population. Supported by other nurses within the practice, they will deliver care within the boundaries of their role, focusing upon supporting patients to be healthy, monitoring of long-term conditions, health prevention and screening activities. They will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedures, and providing nurse leadership as required.
About us
You will be joining a team of 2 existing Practice nurses as well as 2 GP's, 1 ANP, 1 Prescribing Paramedic and 2 HCA's along with a team of dispensers, admin & reception staff.
