Job summary

The Feldon Practice in Halesowen has an opportunity for a experienced coder/summariser to join our busy practice team.

This role involves coding incoming patient correspondence as part of our document management system and summarising new patient records, therefore experience of emis web is essential.

Main duties of the job

Data entry and read coding of relevant patient information and medical data into the clinical system;

Scanning patient information into computerised records, including medical documents, hospital records and letters, as necessary;

Read-coding the information into the partnership's clinical system;

Retrieving paper notes as requested;

Photocopying documents as required;

Reviewing and summarising medical records.

About us

We are a well-established GP registrar training practice based in Halesowen across two sites. Serving a practice population of approximately 9,500 patients. We are looking for someone to join our team of excellent receptionists and administrators.
