Job DescriptionPatient Services Assistant.MUST BE ABLE TO WORK UNTIL 6PM MONDAY - FRIDAY.This role is not open to students.
Open Monday - Friday 08:00-18:00. Closed on Bank Holidays & Weekends.
You may be required to take part in our late evening rota on either a Wednesday or Thursday until 8.30pm.
Main duties of the job
- Ensuring smooth running of the main office and reception area.
- Dealing with patients on the phone and face to face e.g. booking into the appointments system.
- Liaising with other team members, Doctors, Nurses and other associated healthcare agencies and providers.
- General office duties including word/data processing, filing, photocopying and scanning, ordering stationery and other supplies
- Maintaining and monitoring the practice appointments system
- Answering telephones, booking appointments, dealing with patients

- The post would have a 6-month probation period.
- 5 weeks holiday / extra week after 5 years service and extra 3 days after 10 years service
