Job summary

Are you a highly organised, energetic manager ready for a meaningful leadership role? Do you have experience running complex operations and motivating teams even if you've never worked in the NHS?

We are looking for a Practice/Business Managerto lead the day-to-day running of our large, friendly GP surgery in Worcester.

Main duties of the job

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including HR, finance, IT, health and safety, and facilities
  • Lead compliance with CQC, GDPR, NHS policies, and contractual requirements
  • Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and improve financial resilience
  • Develop and embed a simple quality management system for improvement and accountability
  • Work closely with GP partners on strategic direction and business planning
  • Support our clinical and administrative teams to deliver safe, efficient care
