Clinical Research Administrator

Job summary

Due to the expansion of the team, an opportunity has arisen for a 22 hours per week post to support the Research Team in all administrative aspects and co-ordination of practice research, ensuring the practice achieves its long-term strategic objectives.

Main duties of the job

  1. Supporting the Research Lead and research personnel in the day-to-day administrative tasks of research
  2. Coordinate the Research Leads calendar and rota with respect to research related meetings
  3. Support with writing and running reports to identify eligible patients for research
  4. Keeping site files up to date
  5. Archiving site files and e-mails relating to that research from the research team
  6. Support the dissemination of information in relation to research studies
  7. Social media and website support, producing and publicising items of interest in relation to research studies
  8. To support accurate and timely submissions for research studies where required
  9. Taking and disseminating minutes of research meetings
  10. To support the Research Team in implementing research policies
  11. Assisting with Regional Research Development Network portfolio and commercial research
  12. Supporting with improving recruitment to time and target for commercial and non-commercial studies
  13. Engage effectively with patients and the public
  14. In addition to clinic/patient-based tasks, this role includes document generation and control, project tracking and logistics, data collection, adherence to good clinical practice and research governance and assisting in the continued improvement in the care of research participants and quality of research data
