Job summary
We are looking for a dedicated,
enthusiastic and motivated GP to join our hardworking multidisciplinary team,
working 4-6 sessions per week
This post will be under the BMA
model contract.
We are accepting new ways of
working to address clinical and workforce issues facing Primary Care. Our CQC
rating is good.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will
undertake a variety of duties governed by the GMS contract and objectives of
enhanced services including:
Carry out patient consultations via telephone, face-to-face,
online triage and occasional home visits where clinically appropriate.
Take part, pro rata, in the duty rota.
Prescribe in accordance with prescribing guidelines.
Process administrative tasks in a timely and efficient manner,
including referrals, pathology results, clinic letters and discharge summaries,
repeat prescriptions, and other documentation.
Maintain clear and accurate clinical records in line with
agreed professional standards.
Referring patients for specialist input
Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed
standards including coding for QOF
About us
We are a long-established,
forward-thinking GMS practice located in Warrington serving a population of around 8000
patients. The practice has a friendly, supportive team . This consists of 3 GP Partners,1
Advanced Nurse Practitioner Partner 1 salaried GP,2 practice nurses, 1
healthcare assistant, 2 Managers,1 Supervisor and a team of 7 Administrators,
plus ARRS staff
We are part of an active PCN and
have good working relationships while sharing good practice with one another.
