Job summary

Castleman Healthcare Ltd, a federation of 13 GP Practices working collaboratively across three Primary Care Networks to improve the health of our combined 120,000 patients are looking for a registered nurse with an interest in respiratory to join our friendly, forward thinking and supportive team, to work closely with our current Respiratory and Diabetes Nurse Specialists in a variety of locations across Poole North and East Dorset Localities.

Main duties of the job

The ideal candidate will have an interest and experience in Respiratory will wish to specialise in this very interesting and fulfilling area of general practice whilst being able to adapt to the ever changing needs of our Respiratory service.

GENERAL RESPIRATORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the Respiratory Nurse Specialist in reviewing Asthma and/or COPD patients. Support practice nurses in the management of Asthma and/or COPD patients. Work within the diagnostic hub supporting the delivery of spirometry and patient education. Assist in the follow up of complex respiratory patients reporting back to the respiratory lead. Support the respiratory nurse specialist in the MyCOPD digital platform. Perform basic respiratory reviews as required. And any other duties as delegated by the Respiratory Nurse Specialist and/or service lead.
