Main duties of the job
Taking and recording patient vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, etc.)

Assisting with routine health checks and screening

Preparing patients for clinical examinations

Supporting clinicians during procedures

Providing practical and emotional support to patients

Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring confidentiality
About us
Mullion and Constantine Group Practice has five partners, complemented by a team of three salaried GPs, a paramedic and a dedicated team of four nurses, supported by our HCA team.
We also have a clinical pharmacist, pharmacy technician, and two social prescribers.
The management team is supported by a fantastic administrative team ensuring smooth operations across the practice.

To provide general phlebotomy & clinical support for the practice. Working under the supervision of the Lead Nurse and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, assisting the practice clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care.
- New patient health checks & NHS health checks
- ECG recording
- Phlebotomy
- Chaperoning duties
- Processing and management of laboratory samples requested by GPs / nurses
- Sterilising, cleansing and maintenance of equipment used
- Surgical equipment and stock rotation
- Clearing and re-stocking consulting rooms
- Preparing and maintaining environments and equipment before, during and after patient care interventions including GPs during the performance of minor operations / coils
- Assisting in the assessment and surveillance of patients' health and well-being
- Undertaking specific clinical activities for named patients that have been delegated and taught specifically in relation to that individual.
- Helping raise awareness of health and well-being and how it can be promoted
- Assisting with the collection and collation of data on needs related to health and well-being
