Job summary

Are you a friendly, flexible and enthusiastic individual, wanting to progress your nursing career? Do you want to be a part of our evolution into the primary care nursing team for the future, responding to the ever-changing health needs of our patients? Our inclusive, supportive team is looking to welcome a registered Nurse Associate to work between 25 and 35 hours per week at Horfield Health Centre described by patients as refreshing kind, reassuring and knowledgeable.

Main duties of the job

If you want to

  • Provide the best care for patients across a wide range of chronic diseases and conditions
  • Benefit from a well-established multi-disciplinary team including pharmacists, physios, mental health workers and social prescribers
  • Join a practice where training and development is a major part of what we do (as evidenced by the New to Practice programme, IP qualifications gained by various staff, and our continuing commitment to welcoming trainee doctors, nurses and other clinical colleagues)
  • Be part of a practice where genuine staff well-being is important; and
  • Enjoy periodic treats like ice cream days in the summer, and fruit bowls the whole year round

then we'd love to consider you for this position

The role is open to anyone with a registered nurse associate qualification, and previous experience in general practice would be a definite advantage. However, if you can show some transferable skills and can demonstrate why you now feel general practice is the route forward for you, then please get in contact.

Working hours are within a flexible shift pattern between 8am - 6:30pm Mon- Friday, with occasional Saturdays (either 8:15am-12.15pm or 1pm-5pm) and some weekday evenings until 8:00pm on a rota basis.
