This is an exciting time to join an innovative and forward thinking care home team at Bethesda Medical Centre.
We are committed to improving the care provided to all patients including those living in
our care homes, reducing health inequalities and raising the quality and
standards of Care from our GP practice. This role will part of the developing
model of care which addresses our ambition to deliver person-centred
coordinated care and support implementation of the NHS long-term plan.
The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of a dynamic
nursing team delivering all aspects of care to the patients.

Main duties of the job
As a Nursing Associate, you will work under the supervision of and in partnership
with the Senior Nurse to provide and deliver a high standard of nursing care
under the Care Home DES (Direct Enhanced Service). You will contribute to the
on-going assessment, providing and monitoring care based on evidence and
working in partnership with the focused care home team.

- The candidate must meet the specific qualification and training requirements as specified in the Nursing Midwifery Standards of proficiency by having undertaken and completed the two-year Foundation Degree delivered by a Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) - approved provider; and is registered with the NMC and revalidation is undertaken in line with NMC requirements.
- Educated to a minimum level 5 Foundation degree level specific to nursing associate practice
- Understanding of the scope of the role of the Nursing Associate in context of the nursing and interdisciplinary team and the organisation, and how the role may contribute to service development
- Experience of working in teams under appropriate supervision as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills IT skills appropriate to the role
