Are you a motivated person with a good level of computer knowledge and great communication skills?
We are looking for a Part Time Administrator to work 35 hours a week over 5 days Monday to Friday 9.30am to 5pm with a half hour lunch break on each day . Previous medical experience is desirable but not essential as
training will be given. The successful
candidate must also have the ability to work on their own initiative and be
organised.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be working closely with our clinicians to ensure that patients are given the most appropriate care.
Duties will include:
Having a good working knowledge of our clinical and appointment system.
Processing prescriptions, Hospital post, Pathology results ,Emails and Prescriptions . You will need to have good IT and Communications Skills be flexible in your working and able to work independently.

The Bethesda Medical Centre is purpose
built and situated on a cliff top in Cliftonville on the outskirts of Margate.
The practice team consists
of 10 doctors (4 partners and 6 salaried GPs), 5 nurses, 4 HCAs, the Acute Care Team, and admin
& ancillary staff. We also have attached staff who are based at the
practice or visit, and these include:- , Ultrasound Unit,
Physiotherapists, Ophthalmologists and Headache specialist who hold weekly clinics at the Centre.

it in patient notes within 24 hours of receipt.
- To
send scanned correspondence to the GP via Workflow for comment
- To
process repeat prescription requests and ensure resultant prescriptions
are available for collection by the patient within 48 hours, including E
Mails
- To
process actions requested by GPs via Workflow or returned from returned
correspondence within 24 hours of receipt
- To
call patients for Routine appointments arising from Path Links
- To
call patients for Urgent appointments arising from Path Links
- Arrange
blood tests, diabetic appointments, and further urine tests arising from
Path Links.
- Respond
to direct calls from Residential Homes
- Chase
Blood test results
- Adhere
at all times to patient Confidentiality ,Data Protection and the
regulations of Information Governance /GDPR
