Main duties of the job

Our very friendly and professional team have a strong multi-disciplinary working ethos and enjoy supporting each other. Working closely with GP colleagues, the post-holder will deliver several Treatment Room clinics providing assessment; treatment; screening; health education services and advice to patients including

Wound management

Administering a vaccinations and immunisations.

Contraception, STI checks and advice and cervical screening.

As part of the clinical team, you will participate in clinical supervision; ongoing CPD; team and practice meetings as well as contributing to projects and audits.

About us

We are friendly, patient focussed and progressive General Practice. We are seeking a Part Time Treatment Room Nurse to help provide care for over 22,000 patients. We have a supportive clinical team consisting of doctors; chronic disease nurses; treatment room nurses; pharmacists; nurse practitioners / paramedics, and a physio and mental health nurse that deliver care from 2 sites.

We strive to provide excellent care to our patients and are supported by a well-established and highly professional teams. We are high QoF achievers; continually striving to improve our service. We are a training practice for GPs, Nurses and HCAs and work hard to ensure that our nurses can take full advantage of training and development pathways.
