Job summary
Hanham Health in Bristol is seeking to recruit a Receptionist to provide a high-quality reception service at the GP Practice at the MOD site in Filton.
You will be working a minimum of 24 hours per week based at the Military Medical Centre at Abbey Wood.
You will have 26 days annual holiday entitlement and NHS pension.
The role includes access to highly sensitive information and you should ensure that you conduct your work with the strictest confidence and comply with information governance, data protection and record keeping policies at all times.
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our small team providing Primary Healthcare to military personnel at Abbey Wood. Previous experience of a GP Practice is not essential as full training will be offered. You just need to have a passion for excellent customer service.

KEY TASKS:
Provide a professional, friendly and empathetic reception service to our patients.
Help all team members with administrative support as needed by the demands of the Practice.
Book appointments, respond to patient queries and provide guidance. Receive and manage post, action and respond to emails.
Maintain confidentiality of all patient records and data at all times.
Take responsibility for updating the patient information/compliment boards and patient leaflets.
Deal with minor patient complaints/comments at front desk.
Maintain the team website with current information.
Deal with day-to-day IT problems, such as reporting printer/scanner failures.
Be aware of Health and Safety procedures/Risk Management. Report significant events
Be committed to training and education. Remain up to date with mandatory training.
Attend, participate in and contribute to all staff meetings. Provide feedback as requested for practice development plans and reports. Feel confident and free to speak up regarding concerns.
Show kindness and be prepared to sign up to the team agreed standard of behaviours/D&I policies.
