Job summary
Westrop Practice
seeks an experienced, proactive, and professional First Contact Physiotherapist
to join our dedicated multidisciplinary team. This role requires a highly
competent individual with significant senior-level experience in
musculoskeletal (MSK) and orthopaedic physiotherapy. Experience in delivering
joint injections would be an advantage, but is not essential.
The successful candidate will provide clinical
excellence in physiotherapy management as the first point of patient contact,
working independently and efficiently across remote consultations and
face-to-face clinical assessments.
Main duties of the job
Responsibilities:
Deliver high quality physiotherapy consultations
through face-to-face, telephone, and online platforms.
Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and
treatment of MSK/orthopaedic conditions.
Manage undifferentiated presentations and
develop care plans.
Collaborate closely with GPs and other
healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.
Maintain accurate, contemporaneous medical
records in line with professional and practice standards.
Actively contribute to QOF achievement, clinical
audits, and related quality improvement initiatives.

Westrop Medical Practice is seeking an experienced and independent First Contact Physiotherapist to provide high-quality MSK assessments and treatment across our patient population. The role focuses on early intervention, expert clinical input, and reducing unnecessary secondary care referrals.
Youll be part of a multidisciplinary team, working closely with GPs, allied health professionals, and external services to deliver accessible, patient-centred care. The post is ideal for someone with strong clinical reasoning, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to manage complex cases without routine supervision.

Prioritise, plan, and manage your own caseload independently, while contributing to service development.

Adhere to all mandatory training, safeguarding protocols, and clinical governance procedures.

Maintain and evidence CPD in line with the FCP Roadmap and HPC/CSP standards.
