Job summary
Westrop Medical Practice are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual to fulfil a role within our expanding busy reception team at Taw Hill Surgery. This role involves daily face to face and telephone contact with patients, arranging of appointments and follow up of patient related tasks. The practice aims to develop the role by offering further training to the right candidate to fulfil a role in supporting and navigating patients to the most appropriate care for their needs.
This position would especially suit an applicant with previous experience in a primary care setting with an interest in maintaining excellent patient relationships. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and computer literacy skills are essential.
Main duties of the job
Duties will include all aspects of reception work in a busy GP surgery. Face to face at the front desk, dealing with a high volume of phone calls and back office admin. A caring, friendly and diplomatic disposition is a must

We are based in the Swindon and offer care to over 28,000 patients across all four of our sites. Taw Hill Surgery has over 13800 patients. We operate using the SystmOne clinical system.
