Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to provide finance and accounting support to the practice manager and GP partners in general practice.
The ideal candidate would have a knowledge of financial management systems (Xero/Quickbooks) and either have an AAT Level 3 Diploma or working toward a diploma.
Book-keeping experience and understanding of double entry
Experience in Word and Excel
This role would be well suited to someone who has had experience as a Primary Care practice manager.
Main duties of the job
Finance support to two general practice organisations. Maintaining sales and purchase ledger, funding streams, raising invoices, bank reconciliations, checking financial statements from NHS England and the ICB, VAT returns, liaising with accountants and practice manager/partner
