Working Hours - Mon to Friday (12.45pm to 6pm)
Windsor House Group Practice is a large GP Practice with 3 x surgeries based in Leeds (Morley, Churwell and Drighlington) with a list size of over 19,800 patients.
The successful candidate is expected to provide an efficient reception service to patients and assist in
providing a comprehensive administrative service
To provide an efficient initial, advice and guidance service for
patients of the practice making enquiries around the services provided.
To receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate
service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
To
provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and
friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the
telephone
Duties
will include being the focal first point within the practice for patients and
visitors; project a positive and friendly image at all times, either in person
or via the telephone.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate should have previous experience working in an administrative / reception environment with excellent IT skills (esp. around SystmOne), the ability to work with people at all levels, together with good organisational and communication skills, both verbal and written. You should have the ability to use your own initiative but also be team orientated and have a flexible approach to work.
You will need to have good time management skills, the ability to organise and prioritise work along with an understanding of, and commitment to, patient confidentiality.
A willingness to learn and develop skills will be positively encouraged. You will be part of an enthusiastic team, who will play an instrumental part in the smooth running of the practice.
About us
Windsor House Group Practice is a large GP Practice in Leeds spanning across three sites. We have a team of approx 70 employees both clinical and administrative. We are passionate around the care and support of our patients and the role of a receptionist is key to our service provision.
The role will primarily work at Shenstone House Surgery, Churwell, Leeds (with an expectation that the successful candidate would work at one of the other surgeries as and when required).
